What's the difference between coaching and mentor coaching?
Coaching is for anyone going through a professional or personal situation — it's not specific to coaches. Mentor coaching is specifically for coaches: it develops your coaching skills against the ICF Core Competencies and supports credentialing at ACC, PCC, or MCC level.
What languages do you work in, and do you work online or in person?
I work primarily in English — I'm happy to work with you wherever you are in the world. I also work in Italian, if that's a better fit. Sessions and workshops are held online via video; when a client needs me on-site, I'm happy to travel and work in person with appropriate advance planning.
How is supervision different from coaching?
Supervision is reflective practice for people who hold space for others professionally — coaches, mentors, leaders, and helping professionals — focused on their development, ethical questions, and the systemic dynamics they navigate at work.
What is The Human Shift Practitioner Program?
It's my coach education program, structured in a Practitioner level and a Senior Practitioner level, for people ready to grow their self-awareness and their capacity for grounded human connection — whether or not they intend to coach professionally.
Do you offer workshops or speaking engagements?
Yes. I run workshops, and I am open to speaking engagements on topics such as leadership development, self-leadership, female leadership, effective decision-making, creating environments of trust, self-organisation, vision, mission and purpose, active listening, difficult behaviours, boundaries, navigating a VUCA and BANI world, innovation, and systems thinking, among others. I also organise silent coaching sessions, group reflective practices, and pre-mortem sessions.
Is our work together confidential?
Yes. All 1:1 sessions are strictly confidential, and nothing you share with me will get out without your permission. In line with the Global Code of Ethics and the ICF Code of Ethics, there are a few narrow exceptions: confidentiality may need to be broken where required by law, in the case of illegal activity, a valid court order or subpoena, or an imminent or likely risk of danger to you or others. As I recognise myself in the "helping professional" category and follow EMCC's recommendations, I have regular supervision with two supervisors — if I ever need to discuss a client situation there, I anonymise what I share, and my supervisors are bound by the same code of ethics and confidentiality.
Group or team sessions work a little differently: I won't share anything outside the session, but I can't guarantee the same for other participants. Whenever I'm the coach, facilitator, supervisor, or trainer in a group or team setting, we establish a confidentiality agreement together at the start. You can read the full codes I follow: the Global Code of Ethics and the ICF Code of Ethics.
What happens after I book a free welcome call?
During the call, we get to know each other and talk about what brought you to book it — it's worth thinking beforehand about what you'd like to know from me, so you leave with real answers. Either during the call or shortly after, I'll share some ideas and options for how we could continue working together — or, just as honestly, let you know if I don't think I'm the right fit for what you need, so you're free to look elsewhere without losing time. Take whatever time you need to consider the options. You're always welcome to reach out with more questions or propose something different, at francesca@francesca-rossin.com. If you'd like to go ahead, I'll send you my onboarding package and we'll start planning next steps together.
